12/08/08 - Intrusion Presents: The Last Dance & Screaming Banshee Aircrew LIVE! - Tuesday 14th October 2008

We are proud to present LA's finest; THE LAST DANCE who will be opening their 2008 UK tour at Intrusion, supported by the fantastic SCREAMING BANSHEE AIRCREW. As usual, the club opens at 8.30pm with bands starting at 9.15pm. Be sure to arrive early to avoid dissapointment! You can also pre-book your entry here. Our entry fee for the night is still only £4 and includes your entry to the club night afterwards where our house DJs will continue with music to keep you stomping into the small hours. 10/08/08 - The results are in: Intrusion's Feedback Survey

At our Birthday celebration, we handed out feedback forms for you guys to fill in and return so we could get a feel for your thoughts about Intrusion.

So here are the results for music types and how much more or less you wanted to hear compared to what we normally play:

80s - Most people said 'the same'
Trad Goth - Most people said 'more'
Alt Rock - Most people said 'the same'
Hard Electro - Most people said 'more'
EBM/Bleep - Most people said 'less'

As a result we will be adapating our sets slightly, therefore to try and play more Trad Goth and Hard Electro at the expense of softer Bleepy/Future Pop genres.

It's worth noting that most of you didn't want to see more live bands on club nights. However, most of you WOULD be interested if we brought live gigs to Oxford on another night of the month as a seperate occassion to the Intrusion club nights.

So after the upcoming gig in October, we will not have further live bands on the club nights themselves.

27/05/08 - Intrusion's 7th Birthday Party! - Tuesday 10th June 2008

This year the birthday Intrusion is themed as "Goths in the Movies" to celebrate our 7th year running. This is a non-compulsory fancy dress, but it would be awsome to see everyone come as their favorite "Goth" movie character. Remember that the term Goth covers a whole bunch of genres, so cyber-punk, horror, fetish (within reason - keep it clean!) etc. all apply. Use your imagination.....or just come looking fabulous as you always do!

Of course there will be cake, sweets and other goodies as well as the now traditional birthday raffle. We'd also like to appeal to the Intrusion-goers we haven't seen for a while to make a special appearance, because they are missed and we would love to see them, as well as all of our current crowd in attendance.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

23/05/08 - The Intrusion website is back....

Well, after a long, long wait, I've got my arse in gear and got the website running again. I'm currently updating all of the old content, so some of it will be a bit dated. All will be sorted in time!

Thanks to everyone who has been patiently waiting for this; our attendees and organisers alike. Even more thanks to all the Intrusionites who have constantly supporrted the night over the last 7 years. We look forward to seeing all of you at the birthday Intrusion next month!
