Cavey Nik

DJ Cavey Nik has been running "Dead and Buried" in London since January 2003. It's the UK's first and premiere "dedicated contemporaray and classic Deathroock night" and concentrates on playing Deathrock, Batcave, Gothabilly, Trad Goth, Post Punk and Horror Punk music and doesn't play any "EBM, metal or cheese." He Djs there with his co-DJ, the Deathrock super model [and All Gone Dead bassist] Djane Darlin' Grave.

Nik also puts on live bands from time to time in London [and runs the annual all-dayer, "Bring Out Your Dead"] and has put on such acts as Devilish Presley, Cinema Strange [UK debut], New Days Delay [UK debut], Psycho Charger [European debut], All Gone Dead [world debut] and Bloody Dead and Sexy [UK debut] among many others. He's always looking out for cool bands to put on in London that fit in with his vision.

Other dj venues:
"Dead and Buried", "Buried by Monsters" [gigs] and "Zombie Dance" at the Devonshire Arms and the soon to arrive, "Glittery Dust" in London.

Likes:
Music, Deathrock, Gothabilly, Post Punk, Trad Goth, cinema, theatre, Deathrock girls with big mohawks and fishnet, Cardiacs, Gothic Pogo Parties in Leipzig, WGT, energy, enthusiasm, food, live gigs, reciprocal favours, German Deathrock clubs, Drop Dead Festival in NYC, playing the drums [poorly] and Alan Partridge.

Dislikes:
Day jobs, bullshitters, mediocrity, the green eyed monster, complacency, laziness, rubbish and cluless bands, egos, gossip and scene politics.

If you run into me in the street you should:
run away again before I flyer you to death and eat your brains!
